Fibonacci flies - Germany wins

Last weekend Meredith competed in Hickstead with Fibonacci, Comanche and Apsara. It was yet another proof of Nacho's superb form - being the first combination of the German team in Friday's FEI Furusiyya Nations Cup, they left nothing to chance and cleared both rounds of the difficult track. Janne Meyer (Goja) completed both rounds with no faults, too, and Patrick Stühlmeyer had just one fence down in total - a strong German performance, so strong that Ludger Beerbaum, the team's fourth rider, didn't need to start in either round.

Fibonacci was also Meredith' choice for the Grand Prix, in which he jumped very well once again, with one unfortunate fault towards the end of the long track.

Both other horses did a good job as well, with Apsara aka Twiggy finishing 10th on Friday and Comanche placing 6th in Saturday's jump off class.

All results can be found here.

Markus spent the weekend in Samorin, showing some young horses and supporting his students Chloe Reid and Andreas Kreuzer in the CSIO3* Nations Cup.

Results from Samorin can be found here.
